AWS Accredited Individuals
Accreditation courses are free and unique trainings in terms of recognition toward completion – these courses provide basic education on AWS services, solutions, and workloads. Both the Business and Technical accreditations should take no longer than 1 hour to complete.

AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business):
This introductory sales course series is designed to help AWS Partners understand and communicate the AWS value proposition. It covers basic concepts of cloud services, how to articulate the business value, how to handle common customer objections, and how-to co-sell with AWS. This course will help you gain the tools to have effective AWS Cloud sales conversations with customers.
Technical Professional Accreditation:
Provides AWS Partners with fundamental, technical knowledge of AWS cloud computing, global infrastructure, services, common solutions, migration, security, and compliance. This course is designed to teach students the fundamental principles of AWS solution architecture design and to introduce the basic skills needed to engage customers in a pre-sales AWS technical opportunity. It is intended to empower learners to make recommendations and informed decisions about AWS Cloud solutions based on customer business requirements.
Foundational Certified Individuals
The AWS Cloud Practitioner course is designed for individuals who have limited or no technical knowledge of Cloud computing concepts. It is highly recommended for all partner sales staff to take this exam, as it will provide them with a solid foundation in cloud fundamentals and familiarize them with AWS services and terminology. By completing this course, they will be well-equipped to effectively communicate the benefits of AWS to their clients and confidently navigate cloud-related discussions.
Foundation Certification: Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Technical Certified Individuals
An AWS technical certified individual is anyone who is a Solution Architect, Developer, or SysOps. The exams are broken down into three tiers; Associate, Professional or Specialty level). For partners looking to get to select tier should encourage their two most competent technical team members to sit the Solutions Architect Associate exam.

I already have AWS certified individuals in my team, how do I get their certifications to show on my score card?
- Individuals with existing AWS Certifications can add their certifications to your AWS Partner Central account. See: How to link certifications to APN
- It takes about 5 days to be acknowledged in your Partner Central account after the sharing certification step is complete.
- Contact AWS customer service team for issues adding certifications. Directions: Log into Partner Central > on the top right side, click “Contact Support”.
How can I grant my team access to AWS Partner Central and Skill Builder?

Experience
To obtain a Select Tier upgrade, partners need to lodge and launch 3 opportunities at a minimum AWS Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) of $1,500 USD. All opportunities are to be tracked and managed via the ACE Pipeline Manager in APN Partner Central.
What is an opportunity?
An opportunity is any work that is going to result in consumption of AWS services. This can be for any AWS services either working in a customers environment /account or your own. There is no lower threshold in either number of services or $ for an opportunity.
How to lodge an opportunity?

How to Launch an opportunity?
Once you opportunity has been lodged and validated by the AWS ACE team, you will be able to move it to launched once there is consumption of AWS services on an account.
To do this Click into the opportunity ID- Change Stage-Launched
Then scroll down to additional details and insert the AWS account ID used for the opportunity and click save.
Monthly Recurring Revenue
The MRR that shows on your scorecard is not reflective of actual consumption but rather the estimated MRR that you input into your ACE opportunities. This will be reflected on your scorecard once your opportunities have been launched.

Why can't I move my opportunity to launched?
Before you can launch an opportunity it has to be validated by the AWS ACE team. Check the status of the opportunity in ACE to see if it has been 'approved'. Please note that this can take up to 7 business days.
I have launched my opportunity but its not showing on my scorecard?
Once you have moved the opportunity to stage launched, it needs to be validated by the assigned AWS sales rep. You can contact this person by navigating to the contacts tab within the ACE opportunity. Once the opportunity has been approved as launched by the sales rep it an take up to 3 business days to reflect in the partner scorecard.

Think Big For Small Business
The AWS Think Big for Small Business (TBSB) Program offers small and/or minority-owned public sector organizations unique access to business, technical, and marketing enablement support.
TBSB provides qualified Partners with provisional access to APN Select (6 months) and Advanced tier (12 months) benefits through a reduced set of requirements. Giving Partners more time and needed resources to achieve APN requirements;Requirements;
- Partner business is minority owned
- Australia-Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- New Zealand-Māori) - Partner business has 150 employees or fewer at time of application
