Gigamon, the leading deep observability company today announced a new value-added distribution agreement with NEXTGEN across A/NZ. The decision comes hot on the heels of the recently announced capability expansions for the Gigamon Hawk Deep Observability Pipeline, an innovation which continues to drive 68% market share for the vendor.

The evolution to complex hybrid and multi-cloud IT environments has led to the proliferation of security and performance blind spots that seriously impede network, security and cloud IT teams from realising the full benefits of their existing tools. In response, the deep observability market continues to expand rapidly with revenue forecast to reach $2 billion by 2026. Asia Pacific (excluding China) is leading this global growth performance with 57% revenue increase in the first half of 2022 alone.

"Gigamon helps IT teams to scale up and out with assurance, eliminate security and performance blind spots across cloud traffic and unmanaged hosts, and gain application transparency while dramatically reducing cross-platform cost and complexity," said Kenny Tan, Head of APAC Channels at Gigamon.

He went on to say "Gigamon Hawk amplifies the power of observability by accessing network traffic at the source, whether virtual, container, or physical, and efficiently aggregates, optimises and improves it while serving actionable, network-level intelligence to any tooling anywhere. The Gigamon partnership with NEXTGEN will provide more customers with access this best-in-class technology through their leading local channel partners. We are very excited by the value NEXTGEN's relationships and expertise will bring to our expansion plans in region."

Ross Wehby, NEXTGEN's Head of Cyber Security & Data Resilience added, “At NEXTGEN, we’re focused on working with the world's leading enterprise software providers, and we are highly selective about the technology partners we choose to work with. We search for vendors technologies that complement our vendor offering so we can help our partners in solution selling and differentiating themselves. Gigamon is a high growth vendor with massive opportunity, addressing the enormous need for cloud observability, and is a great fit with our existing vendor suite. We’re excited to support Gigamon in their global expansion efforts as they go from strength to strength and bring new offerings to market.
