In that time Veronica has worked in a variety of roles from direct sales, partner management, sales management and most recently Account Director. Veronica has always been an advocate for diversity and inclusion, originally as a mentee and then over time as a mentor for future talent. Veronica manages a complex and competitive set of business partners, consistently delivering results that have a significant positive impact on NEXTGEN’s key metrics including revenue, margin, brand awareness, and partner experience. Veronica’s partners have consistently delivered around 40% of NEXTGEN’s revenue over many years, adding significantly to the company’s rapid growth. Recently Veronica was key to winning a multi-million-dollar opportunity that was at risk due to a lack of engagement and experience. Demonstrating a can-do attitude, Veronica engaged with honesty, consistency and transparency in the process of gaining partner loyalty. Showing perseverance throughout several objections and rejections, Veronica built trust and gave a personal guarantee of customer experience, resulting in a NEXTGEN win. This showed the team it’s never too late to win a customer through honesty and personal relationships. Veronica is a champion for diversity and inclusion, with a long track record of mentoring and coaching young people in ICT. In particular, she advocates for young women whom she believes are the future of our industry. Veronica creates an environment of coaching, support, and psychological safety, providing the confidence young people need to succeed in their careers. Throughout her career, Veronica has mentored over 30 people, many of whom are now in senior roles across the industry. To this day, many of those people still come to her for support and guidance.   For four years Veronica has been running the NEXTGEN mentee program, developing over 10 NEXTGEN employees, guiding them on their careers at NEXTGEN and into the next stages of their lives. She has also extended this to her partners, with many trusting her for mentorship, advice and coaching.
